Frequently Asked Questions
CAN I SHOWER AFTER MY MASSAGE TREATMENT?
Yes! Just avoid drastic temperature changes to avoid muscle aches the following day.
For example, wait 30mins to 60mins after coming from the outside cold to inside warm, to give your body time to acclimatize and temperature regulate.
WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?
The Therapists will go through normal protocol with you and answer any additional questions you may have so that you will be comfortable and relaxed. As long as you give verbal feedback to the Therapists as to your comfort, you will have a very relaxing, and rejuvenating treatment.
DO YOU TREAT PATIENTS WITH SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS?
Yes we do but we can only aid in minimizing discomfort, tension, pain and stress. Massage Therapy is NOT a cure for severe conditions.
CAN MY CHILDREN GET MASSAGE THERAPY?
Yes they can. From infant and older we encourage the use of Massage Therapy to help nurture neurological and motor skill development, control their stress, help your baby relax and sleep, and ease discomfort from Colic.
IS THEIR SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE MASSAGE?
There might be some "kick back pain" which is mild muscle discomfort/tenderness local to the area treated. It shouldn't last more than 3 days. These occurrences happen less the more frequent you get Massage Therapy.
CAN I BRING MY OWN LOTION/OIL FOR MY TREATMENT?
Yes you may but the Therapist will verify the ingredients in the product to ensure they do not contain AVOCADO OILS or NUT OILS due to severe allergies in the clinic.
